Taya's Growth

Everyone always told me how fast they grow but man it seems so fast when they are your own. One miniute they are so little and the next they are starting to sit up. Well I have been taking a picture every month on her Birthday with this stuffed dog so we could measure her grow, so here it is....

All about Taya

So I decided I need to start Taya's baby book.. I know I am a slacker. Well I wanted to write some things about her. Sorry if it's boring!
Things Taya likes:
Taya loves taking bathes.. she will just kick her little legs and splash water everywhere.
She loves to nurse or maybe just loves her mom!!
She loves her jumper she gets going pretty good in there. She also loves her play mat she can sit and look and play for a long time. She likes Baby Einstein, well basically TV in general. She loves to look at all the colors and movements. Taya really likes dogs.. I think they just fascinate her because she will just watch them. She likes to lay in her crib and watch her mobile go around and around. She loves to suck and chew on her fingers all day long. She loves to feel different textures. She has a frilly boa and she just rubs it between her hands and on her face. She also loves her bear blanket because one side is silk and the other is soft like fleece. She thinks it is so funny when you touch her feet to her face she just laughs and laughs. She really enjoys it when I dance with her. She just loves to be moving.

Things Taya doesn't like
She doesn't like to cuddle unless she is really tired. She doesn't like to face you when you are holding her, she would rather face out so that she can see what is going on. She doesn't like to stay in one spot for a long period of time, she likes to constantly be doing something new. She doesn't like to take naps or go to bed for that matter... she fights it like mad to stay awake.. like she is afraid she is going to miss something. She also doesn't like nightmares because she gets them quite often durnig her naps. ( That is probably why she doesn't like taking naps) She also is really funny about other people holding her, she puts out her bottom lip and starts to cry until I take her back! Sometimes it makes me crazy.
Things I love about Taya
She is so Happy( most of the time) I love her toothless smile, and when she talks and coos for hours and I love her giggles. I love her big blue eyes( thanks to her dad.) I love it when I am the only one that can get her to clam down. I love that she recognizes different things and that she is holding on to things.
Things I don't like so much about Taya
She doesn't sleep!!! If she does it isn't very long. She wakes up about 3 times a night to eat. Also she will be asleep in my arms and as soon as I lay her down she is awake. Boy o Boy this girl has a temper. She can get mad and it is hard to clam her down. She just knows what she wants and who she wants.
You know what is funny is that Taya is alot like her mom. Dang it!! O-well I still love her to pieces!!

I've been tagged! !!!

So I was tagged like two weeks ago and you know how life gets... very busy!! It also took me that long to think of my interesting facts or quirks!! Well here it goes....
1) First of all I think ebay has a curse against me... every time I have ever bought something from them it either didn't work or it is the wrong thing. First I bought a new cell phone because I broke mine and the one we got wouldn't let me charge the dang thing because all of the prongs in the plug were all bent.. Next I love stamping and I found all the ink pads I wanted, I was so excited and when they came they were all 2 inches when I thought they were 6.... next I bought a breast pump when it arrived it hardly even worked. So I had my sis in-law find one for me, when it came it didn't work either... so after the third pump I finally got one that works!! ( What a joke.. I hate ebay!!!)
2) So I can't stand it when someone is eating with a fork and uses their teeth to scrape the food off... that sounds makes me crazy!! ( My hubby does it all the time!!)
3) So I am kinda a brute when it comes to being hurt or lifting heavy things.. like last year I tore my ACL at a softball game and I played the rest of the game on it and I didn't even cry. Also when I had Taya, I didn't have any drugs or anything and only cried when I saw her. Then when it comes to anything emotional I am a baby.. you hurt my feeling and I'll cry... I see a love story and I'll cry... I am a pansy in that sense but if I get hurt or anything like that it doesn't make me cry... I know I am weird!!
4) Lately I have this crazy obsession with fabric.. every time I go to Wal-mart I have to look at the fabric and of course usually find one I want. Actually it's anything crafty that my obsession is with because I can't stop buying scrapbooking stuff or stamping stuff.
5) Whenever I figure out something new I go a little overboard, for example I learned how to make quilts.. so I made 6 of them in 2 weeks.. I learned how to make apple pies.. I made 12 of them in two days.. If I learn how to do something I go crazy and do a bunch and then never make them again.
6) I have no tolerance for background noises.. they make me crazy... for example if someone is taping their fingers on a table... or when someone is whistling in Wal-mart.. or when someone is tapping their foot in class.. whatever it is I can always hear it and it drives me mad.
7)You would never guess this but I love aerobics.. I love the feeling it gives me after a hard workout... It is my stress reliever. I know... how come I am not skinny.. Well you see I can't stop eating!!
8) I have an addiction.. I am addicted to candy.. I always want something sweet after a meal or when I am munchy. Snickers are my favorite. When we go to the store I always want to buy candy and my hubby says, "Mel you don't need it.. fight the craving."

Finally my mom did my 4 month pics.. now I am almost 5 months

Our sweet Taya is growing so fast it is unbelievable.. She is 10 days away from being 5 months... time flys. Well she is just getting cuter and funner everyday so it's all good!!!

One Happy Little Girl

Taya is so happy!!! She is always smiling and giggling even when she doesn't feel good. This week she has had a cold, the stuffy can't breathe kind.... and here she is just smiling away. She loves her fingers as well.. I think they are pretty much always in her mouth!!

Our Little Spider

When I saw this costume online I fell in love, it's so cute, but maybe I should have waited until I had a boy. When I went to Matt's work to show her off this lady says, "oh look how cute that little boy is in the spider costume." I wanted to shout... she is a girl dang it... can't you see the purple bows... and the cute black shoes... oh well she is still pretty dang cute!!!
