So Today my little brother had baseball games in Idaho falls and my dad took him there early to practice and My mom and her sweetheart were going up and Matt and I were going to go too!! Matt stayed out way to late playing computer games with his buddies and came home at 4 a. m. I kept telling him to come home early because we were leaving around 9:00 a.m. He told me he kept thinking that I should go up with my mom!! Then I kept bugging him to get up and he said, "Uh you should go up with your mom, because I am soo tired!!" I said, " you did this to yourself and you knew we were going so get up!!" So he got up and started to get ready and in the mean time my dad ( at the games already) calls and says, Your mother was in a wreck just before Blackfoot and they are taking her in an ambulance so you need to take care of her! I freaked out!!! I drove to Fort Hall when my dad called again and said they were taking them to Pocatello!! So I turned around!! We beat the ambulance there and when they arrived I ran out there to see my mom on the strecher! I couln't help the tears!! She was so scared!!! Tom was walking but had a seperated shoulder!!So I held her hand into the hospital, they did cat scans on both of them and Moms was normal.... she had whip lash and maybe an aherinated disk in the neck.... she was really stiff and sore from bracing herself. Tom's shoulder was definatly out of place and he might need surgery!! Amazinly enough no cuts or open wounds!! My Aunt Susan and all the other angles must have saved them!! It was a miracle!!!! After they calmed down a little I got the story!!!
What happened was that it was raining and they hydroplaned and hit the side guard rail and rolled the car 3 times!!!We are so lucky they are alive!!!The guard rail went through the back passenger door... where iIusually sit when I go with my mom and Taya always rides in the middle!! Man I am so glad Matt got up and I didn't go with my mom or I would have been dead!!
The Lord really looks out for us!!! Obviously it wasn't their time to go yet, which I am soooooo grateful for!!! We are so blessed!!! Mom I love you!!

OH MY GOODNESS. I'm so amazed and stunned. Thank the heavens you weren't in that back seat. I'm so sorry that your mom and Tom are in pain, but so glad they are still alive. What a nightmare!

Oh my word!!! Someone is definately looking out for your family! How scary..good thing you didn't go with your Mom! Sometimes it's situations like these that make you realize how blessed you and your family truly are! I am glad that everyone is okay.

WOW! I actually saw that guard rail on the freeway Saturday when we were on our way to Idaho Falls. Before I even knew about your mom. I remember thinking, "I hope whoever hit that is ok!" So glad that your mom is alright and that you didn't go with. These kinds of horrible things really make us realize how precious life is!
Oh Melonie that's so crazy! I'm glad everyone came out of it ok though. There were truly Angels looking out for your family.
Wow!!!!!!!!!!!! What a crazy experience. You were definitely wathched over that morning. I'm so glad you didn't ride with your mom and that they seem to be doing okay. What a blessing.
Oh my goodness! You're right- we are blessed in so many ways each day that we don't even usually think about! So grateful that ALL of you are still well! Sorry for the stress you did have to go through hon!
