4th of July weekend!!

So last weekend we went to The dry farm to do some camping!! Taya had her first experience with roasted marshmallows... check out the beard!


matt mowed the main part for grandpa and Taya rode along with him enjoying every minute of it!!


So the old house that Grandpa and his dad built is starting to fall so I thought I would get some shots of it before it does so we can remember how neat it was!

Here is the newer house!! We got to sleep in here!! Even though it doesn't have electricity it is pretty nice for being in the mountains!

Okay so we had our dogs... Lexi and Leroy with us and Grandpa kept saying they were earing their keep because lexi killed 5 Rock chucks!! These dang things have been chewing up Grandpas shop and insaltion. She was pretty vicious, it was kinda scary because she would grab them and just bit them and thrash them around until they died! The last one she got bit her on the cheek... which she deserved and she learned her lesson because she didn't get anymore after that! Here they are on the hunt!




Yeah Taya is walking!! This was the other day and she would take about 7 steps on her own and now she is just standing up and going on her own!! She is so cute!



There is a little creek with a natural spring that runs through the farm and Taya loved to play in it!! We all had to take our turns because she couldn't get enough!







So Grandma hurt her knee and it was hard on her to walk so we got her to ride the mower around so she didn't have to walk!! This was a first so we had to get it on camera!! Matt was trying to run ahead to get the camera and barely got her!

Taya also loved the mower and would climb all over it!!


On the 4th we went swimming at Heise and I forgot my camera, but it didn't matter because Taya didn't like it. It was cold and there were a ton of people. By the way... don't go there it was $9 a person and Taya was $1 and the water slide was an extra $8 a person!! What a joke, and we were the dough heads that paid!!

Then that night we went into Idaho Falls to Karens friends house and watched the fireworks from there!!Taya was mesmorized at first and then got really bored!!
